My sisters Wedding Speech

Ask anybody and they will tell you I can talk for England.
But what happens when you are very emotional.
I had an experience of thios last saturday at my sisters wedding.
Now it was very hot and I was dressed as a rather smart penguin. (full formal wear)
We were not allowed to take our jackets off. Anyway I loved mine and I looked fabulous.

My reading to about 120 people followed the announcing of the marriage.
I wasokay and breathing and going into peripreal vision. When Suddenly the room whooshed with a genuine sudden outpouring of love and compassion. With that half the room burst into tears including me! I wasnt trained how to speak and cry at NLP school.
I considered a joke " Im not crying just sweating through my eyes" dodnt seem appropriate at that time.

Seriously though what happens if its really emotional.

So Top tips I found useful
Breathe deeper into the stomach and smile.
Look Up
Make sure there is a glass of water and take a sip
Have a resource anchor
Remember everyone is supporting you and wants your speech to go well.

Rehearse rehearse rehearse ...
If you know it and you get stuck your subconscious will retrieve it.
Enjoy

My reading was received well so I am publishing here Enjoy.

The Next Step

Finding our true love is like

A drop of rain in the desert night

Falling gently on the sand

Dancing freely, hand in hand

Allowing us to reach new heights

Like flowers growing into bloom

We climb eagerly towards the sunlight

Nourishing, sustaining, nurturing, it grows

Our hearts blossom as love flows

Like dolphins playing in the sea

Curious, adventurous, wild eyed and free

Little giggles and private jokes

Special moments like rays of the sun

A spirit of joy and endless fun

We thrive together in this game

Springs love eternal in each others flame

Humour, is sweet honey

Oiling the engine of passion

A gift, refreshing when we are parched

Connecting us with the pure zest of life

Commitment brings us happy surprise

Joining two souls in vision and purpose

To see the world through each others eyes

Leaping courageously forward to the next stage

To open a new leaf, a new page

In the book of life, with true success

Giving, withholding nothing

A carefree union of soul mates

Blessing, receiving joy completely

Living life as its meant to be

The joyful child in us breathes a sigh of relief

Someone loves us for who we are

Warts and all, the things we do wrong

Rising to a new level, a new song

Our relationship endures loving, safe and strong
